Reports on COVID-19 vaccination in Angola
“On 20th of March I was given my first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID‑19 vaccine in Benguela. I had already heard that the process in Luanda was very organised but now I had my own experience. The process was meticulously planned like in a factory line. I was met on time, registered for vaccination, checked against other diseases, vaccinated and given an ID card identifying me and the vaccine I was given, in, let’s say, less than 15 minutes altogether. Then I was asked to wait 15 minutes before leaving, just in case I felt any secondary effects. Most of the medical staff consisted of very young people, who were all well-equipped and protected and showed to be extremely attentive and friendly to everybody. I am very well impressed and proud and can’t wait for my 2nd dose of the jab!”, Reported provided by an Angolan friend, signing as MC, Benguela, Angola
